Fire/Rescue

Inglis Fire Departments Fire Rescue members are State Certified Fire Fighters,  they go through courses to provide BLS (basic life support), are CPR certified, and have taken courses for wildland firefighting.

We are a volunteer paid on-call department, our duties include ensuring that our station and trucks are clean and presentable. We perform weekly truck inspections and are stocked with the proper gear  at all times and are ready to go at any minute for the citizens of our community.

We hold weekly meetings every Monday at 7:00 p.m. On the first Monday of the every month we conduct our business meeting. All other Monday’s are utilized for Fire Rescue Training. We set-up scenarios to ‘play out’ how we would handle that particular situation, and we also go over old and new equipment to remain familiar with our gear and tools. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
