PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN OF INGLIS, FLORIDA
LEGAL SERVICES – TOWN ATTORNEY

The Town of Inglis is seeking proposals from qualified members of the Florida Bar to provide contract legal services to the Town by serving as the Town Attorney.
The Town of Inglis has a population of approximately 1300, and provides a Strong Commission, Weak Mayor form of government with an annual budget and 9 full-time employees. Town Commission meetings are regularly scheduled on the 2nd  Tuesday of each month.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
The proposer must demonstrate at least three (3) years of governmental/administrative law and related field experience with emphasis on ordinance drafting, code enforcement annexation, comprehensive land use and zoning, municipal and Interlocal agreements, risk management, and labor/personnel issues with a working knowledge of municipal, state, federal land constitutional law.

SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED
The proposer shall provide both a summary and detailed explanation of the legal services to be provided to the Mayor, Town Commission and staff including support services, and availability of legal counsel.

FEE STRUCTURE
Proposer shall detail fees for services on a fixed rate of compensation per month, including costs along with an hourly rate for matters beyond the agreed upon scope of service.

FDOT MEETINGS

@THE INGLIS COMMUNITY CENTER

Inglis Community Working Group
Small group of community members recommended by local leaders, including Inglis Commissioners and Mayor, will have an in-depth meeting with FDOT so that FDOT can better understand the goals and desires of the community as the Department works to develop potential options to compare to the no-build alternative. This is part of the US 19 PD&E study.
Meeting Date: January 19, 2023
Meeting Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Lebanon Station Intersection Project Kick-Off Meeting
FDOT District Two is working to make improvements to the intersection of US 19, State Road 121, and County Road 336 at Lebanon Station. This meeting will be to
introduce the project to the community, explain the purpose and goals of the project, and collect feedback from the community.

Whereas, Notice is hereby given that the Town of Inglis will hold its Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm for the purpose of electing the following:

Mayor – Two (2) Year Term
Two (2) Town Commissioners – Two (2) Year Term.
